From Vent to the Ochsenkopf, halfway up to the left to the Niedertal. On a broad path past the newly built chapel and the Schäferhütte on a moderately increasing path to the hut. From there, first flat towards Niederjoch, after about 30 min. Right up to the side moraine of the Niederjochferners and the last 30 minutes over this column-free hut.

Enjoy a both comfortable and relaxing train ride to the train station in Ötztal Bahnhof. You get off the train in ÖTZTAL Bahnhof where you change to a public bus or local taxi. The current bus schedule can be found at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at
