The starting point is in Obergurgl at the Gurgl Carat. In front of the church, follow the path towards the Gurgler Ache. Follow the well-signposted paths through the idyllic meadows of Gurgl until you reach the valley station of the Hochgurglbahn. From there, an exciting ride awaits along the toboggan run before you reach a crucial point: the intersection of routes #689 Hochgurgl-Wurmkogl and #6053 Kirchenkar. Turn left and follow the path to the Kirchenkarhütte, where you reach the highlight of the tour. Enjoy the increasingly impressive backdrop of rugged peaks and majestic glaciers.
