Walk along the broad Grastalweg trail in direction Grastalfeld. The path narrows at its end and becomes steeper. Afterwards you continue through the wide open valley of Grastal towards lake Grastalsee. The last ascent to the lake is a bit steeper - great place to while away the day.

The car drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tirol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the longest side valley in the Eastern Alps. The journey with the car leads you through the Inntal valley to the entrance of the valley and further on through the valley.
