The easy hike starts in Sautens, directly right hand side next to the bridge at the village entrance. From the swimming pool you follow the asphalt road down to the river. Wald along the Ötztaler Ache and cross the bridge to the village Brunau. From Brunau you walk along the forest and fields to AREA 47.
AREA 47 is the biggest outdoor playground in austria! Choose your favouriste activity from rafting, canyoning, swimming, climbin or flying fox.

From the leisure center of Sautens (swimming pool) you follow the Ache river in the direction of the recycling plant and Au - cross Ötztaler Ache at the height of Brunauer Steg bridge - from Brunau you walk along the Ache river on a gravel trail until you get to the AREA 47.
Public transport
Enjoy a both comfortable and relaxing train ride to the train station in Ötztal Bahnhof. You get off the train in ÖTZTAL Bahnhof where you change to a public bus or local taxi. The current bus schedule can be found at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at
Directions
The car drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tirol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the longest side valley in the Eastern Alps. The journey with the car leads you through the Inntal valley to the entrance of the valley and further on through the valley. Among the toll motorways you can also use the country roads.
