From Obergurgl you walk south to the Zirbenalm and further to the entrance of the arrola pine forest. At the junction turn right down to Gurgler river, cross the bridge and follow the path towards Beilstein. At the Beilstein a path leads up towards the Küppele Alm. Arrived at the Ramol path you walk back to the center of Obergurgl.

From Obergurgl you walk south to the Zirbenalm and further to the entrance of the arrola pine forest. Enjoy a both comfortable and relaxing train ride to the train station in Ötztal Bahnhof. You get off the train in ÖTZTAL Bahnhof where you change to a public bus or local taxi. The current bus schedule can be found at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at
