Distance 5.8 km
Cross the bridge across the brook in Pirchhütt and follow the beautiful walking trail to the Alpine lake area until you reach the fork-off to lake Soomsee. Keep to the right towards the lower valley, through the level Soom plateau, heading to picture-book lake Nedersee located right below Nederkogel peak.
From the Nedersee junction you can walk to Soomsee in a few minutes, and the larger Itlsee in another 30 minutes.
