At the beginning of the week, rather cold air will pour into our area from northwest und provide for wintry conditions. Besides, large amounts of clouds and occasional snow showers are expected. Sunny spells will be rare, most likely towards the main Alpine divide. In the second half of the week, a stream of very mild air will reach us. The air will be rather humid and therefore heavier snowfalls and downpours are to be expected on Thursday and on Friday. The snow line will rise close to 1500 m above sea level. After a short period of improved conditions with southerly foehn effects, the next cold front will reach us from the west presumably on Sunday.
