A Scandinavian low and a low over the Western Mediterranean region will unite and form a large-scale low-pressure complex consequently very cold polar air will persistently settle down in our area towards the weekend. On Friday, however, the Mediterranean low will still direct slightly milder air towards our direction. This air will be more humid consequently heavily cloudy conditions will prevail. Little precipitation may occur at least on Friday morning, slightly foehny effects will prevail. Heavily cloudy conditions will prevail on Saturday, however, the dry conditions will prevail throughout most parts of the day. A cold front accompanied by mostly weak snowfall will hit us towards the evening and on Saturday night. The next decrease in temperature will be more significant. Polar cold air will set in and stay with us until next midweek. As the provided cold air will not be overly humid, calmer conditions will settle in again on Sunday. Some snow showers are presumably expected on Monday. Larger amounts of precipitation are no issue.
