Park your car and visit the cycle event

Both spectators and participants in the Ötztaler Cycle Marathon can travel to Sölden by private car and leave it directly in the village. Please follow the instructions given on site in order to prevent an unpleasant surprise – it’s important that you use only the signposted parking areas. There are enough free parking spaces available, where you can leave your car.

Parking in the village

Arriving in Sölden by car already in the early morning to be there in time for the start of the ultimate Ötztaler? At the mountain gondola stations and the post office in the village center you will find enough parking areas (free of charge during the day – important note: no overnight parking!). But if you want to leave the village during the road closing times before the end of the marathon in the finish area and surroundings, which is located at the Freizeit Arena, is recommended to park the car at the base station of Giggijoch mountain gondola. This signposted parking area is located at the northern entrance to the village and therefore not affected by closed roads in the afternoon.

Even better: traveling by public transport

Why don’t you avoid searching for a parking space and reach Sölden by public transport! Buses take spectators straight to the start and finish area.
