opposite the Nasenwand. Now, ascend to the left through the picturesque 400-year-old arolla pine forest to a small hill. Now, follow the west slope
of the Hohe Mut, gradually ascending on a good gravel path toward the Rotmoos Valley and cross the bridge to the Schönwies hut. From there, the path descends slightly to the Gurgler Alm (an 8,000-year-old cultural landscape) with a stone-built shepherd's hut. From there, continue
into the valley along the steep slopes of the Hangerer, past a small chapel, ascending to the old toll hut and over the saddle to the Langtalereck hut. Follow the markers to the Seelenferner glacier into the Langtal Valley, first gradually ascending. Then the path becomes steeper and at the end
of the plateau, a red-marked cairn shows the way to go. The right turn-off goes tot he Seelenferner glacier, the left turn-off goes to the Eiskögele
via a marked path with stakes. No signage here, so keep an eye out for the sparse markings. Cross in a northerly direction to reach a high cirque
before Eiskögele by crossing another rocky step (T4). From here, it's a straightforward hike eastward to the summit.
Descend the same way back to the Langtalereck hut.
