Rental mountain bikes are available in all holiday villages (Euro 17-22 per day, depending on category). This dreamlike tour is recommendable not only for alpinists but also for more leisurely mountain bikers. The wonderful trail leads along the rushing waters of the Ötztaler Ache river up to the scenic high-alpine regions offering great views of the snow-topped Ramolkogel peak (3,549 m) and Hangerer mountain (3,020 m) with the white glacier snouts of Gurgler Ferner as lovely backdrop.
