A strong low-pressure area situated over Central Europe will slowly move to the Black Sea. Partly large amounts of precipitation are expected in the Alpine regions, which may reach the main Alpine ridge due to the southerly foehn wind. In the north of the main Alpine ridge the southerly foehn wind will lose strength. Scattered, partly heavy rain showers may occur, but not before Wednesday. The mild temperatures will continue on. Increasingly, high air pressure will settle in from Thursday on, consequently the sunny and dry weather patterns will prevail. However, local showers occurring in the course of the days may approach due to the unstable layered air masses.
